Are you licensed?
Yes. Bryan Stinger is a licensed Property Manager In Charge in the State of South Carolina. At a minimum, Property Managers employed by Stinger Home Management will hold a Property Management or Real Estate License. -
What does the term “rent ready” mean?
Having a home “Rent Ready” is crucial to ensuring your home maintains its material condition and sets a standard for your tenants. You will need to ensure all holes are patched and paint is touched up in addition to having the carpets and home interior professionally cleaned. Landscaping must be in a neat and presentable state as well. Exterior pressure washing is highly recommended! -
How is rent collection handled?
Rent collection is handled through our online portal and makes it very easy for tenants to pay rent on time. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
Leases are signed for a minimum of 1 year. Longer leases are available, but regardless of the lease term, semi-annual inspections of your property are conducted to ensure your tenants are properly caring for your home. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
At a minimum, the Security Deposit will be equal to one months rent. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
Your property can be listed within 1-3 business days after receiving a signed management agreement. -
What type of properties do you manage?
We manage residential properties, which include, single-family homes, condos, and townhomes. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
You will receive monthly statements and an annual 1099 form. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
Stinger Home Management holds security deposits in our Escrow Account until the conclusion of the lease term. At that time, the property is inspected for cleaning and damages and security deposits are returned to the tenants, minus any deductions for repairs. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Although we have established business hours, we will be available for after hour calls in case of an emergency. -
What if I already have a tenant in my home?
Provided our terms and conditions are met, Stinger Home Management can receive an existing tenant in your home.
