What are the application requirements?
Prospective tenants must have a minimum credit score of 600, income equal or greater than three times the monthly rent and pass our background check, which includes criminal and eviction history. -
Am I required to have renter’s insurance?
Yes. All tenants will be required to have a renter’s insurance policy. A copy of your policy must be provided to Stinger Home Management prior to being issued a set of keys. -
How do I pay rent?
You can easily pay rent through the online portal. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
All pets must be approved prior to being allowed in the home. Pets will be fully screened by our third party service and if approved, tenant must pay a nonrefundable pet fee and sign the pet addendum. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Simply provide Stinger Home Management with a 30-day notice to vacate. -
How do I submit a maintenance request?
You can submit a maintenance request through the online portal. All emergencies must be immediately reported to Stinger Home Management through phone call and not text. -
How can I ensure that I receive my security deposit back?
Return the home to its owner in the same condition you received it. A move-out checklist will be provided to you, but at a minimum, a receipt from a licensed and insured home and carpet cleaner must be provided to indicate services were performed at move-out. Landscaping must be left in the same condition as move-in as well. -
Who is required to maintain landscaping and change HVAC filters?
Tenant is responsible for maintaining landscape in addition to purchasing and replacing HVAC filters every 90 days or as needed. -
Can I change the wall paint color?
Must obtain written approval from Stinger Home Management before making any alterations to the home. -
I signed a lease, can I have my keys?
Once you have paid your security deposit, provided proof of renter’s insurance, confirmed utility transfer in your name and it is the lease start date, you may have your keys. First months rent is due at key transfer via certified check.
